Hello all,

Been long time, I don't know how many of you will land on this page now. But there's some exciting news. S.N.Sethuram Sir is back to direction with a new serial named "Anavarana", which is telecasting on ETV Kannada from past week at 8.30 pm. I haven't been able to record this time but however, thankfully, our Rajagopal sir is doing the honors this time. Am uploading his videos on my Youtube Channel - www.youtube.com/maddyvoldy

Long time, No see

Heya everyone, how are you all? Its been more than 2 years since Manthana came to an end. And recently in the past 6 months, I was just few feet away from getting hold of all the episodes of Manthana....which obviously now failed.

It has become kind of addiction. This renewed interest came due to the fact that I have now involved a new friend who have never seen Manthana. I just showed him couple of scenes I had and he was so impressed that he wanted to see from first. Thats all what I needed, am in the process of filling him in old stories where episodes are missed. After that started to show those episodes that I have. Its like as if am watching for first time, all those emotions are coming back, effects can be seen again.

Around december, I did contact one of the ETV employee who was a friend of my uncle. When asked, he said yeah he can give the episodes of serial, which all did I want! I had sent my uncle to talk which led to way too slow process in unnecessary talks of which serial, which all episodes etc etc blah blah and each question was asked once in 2 weeks....I was elated when I heard ya I was about to get it. But now after all these, he says it cant be given like that, sorry. WTF, they dont release it officially too, and now not even this way. Suffering a lot. Anyway continuing to rewatch those episodes which we have, missing sreenivasiah and sadanand's raid scene a lot.

For those who dunno, most of the episodes can be found at videogirmit. I and my friend (who is newly watching) are having a heavily heated debate over "Rajaram"'s character. He hates that character, am trying to defend. Not his actions but trying to say its situational reaction and cant hate so much. Rajaram is sreenivasiah's honest son in law! Hmmm old memories.

Lets see if anyone pops in to see this post after 2 long years of hiatus

This is for people who watched without knowing/asking old stories. If you people dont want, I, for one, think there's loads to know and I certainly confess I missed quite a few episodes very early on when it started. And I intend to know what happened on those days so that the story I know is filled completely and no question arises later. So anyone whoever knows whatever story since starting, go on posting. Others (me too) will benefit. Ask here, if I know, I'll post. Everything from story/opinion/what should have happened/what shouldnt have happened/loopholes/clues everything goes here.

Note : Any talk on the dialogue delivery will be deleted. I had enough people complaining of text book style. Just Ignore it.

Anyway leave a comment which all episodes you want. I'll re-up them when I get time. Those episodes too will be deleted after a week. Petition For Manthana DVD's

Let's start the pressure on ETV to release Manthana's DVD. I want all your support. They wont release it unless knowing there's a confirmed number of buyers. Leave a comment to show the strength of how many are ready to buy if they release it.

UPDATE : To support the cause of this petition and also to upheld the promise I made in November, I deleted all the episodes uploaded by me. I dont want to impede ETV's move either on DVD or its repeat telecast. People who still havent watched - you are too late. I did say in Apr 4th comments, there's a deadline!

I saw in other forum's that some people are so desperate that they are giving their address and contact number online to inform them if there's an announcement. Please dont resort to such things. Dont give out such personal details online. And anyone claiming to be selling serial at present is fake or pirated dont believe it. Wait for official word.

English Translation :

ETV’s popular soaps ‘Preethi illada mele’ and ‘Manthana’ serial is coming to an end this week. ‘Preethi illada mele’ got over long ago. Officially it’s ending now, that’s it. But ‘Manthana’’s end is beyond telescreen’s calculations. Still when there’s a hold on the story, even before viewers start to yawn Sethuram has finished the serial. They have given way for other serial by finishing before 300 episodes. Among the ‘Kings of 1000 episodes’ Sethuram’s stand is very rare.

As for the kannada telescreen, ‘Manthana’ is a surprising serial. Sethuram – who has a tag of good actor by acting in T. N. Seetaram’s serials – suddenly getting down to direction was the first surprise. Resigning from Income Tax Department and making small screen as his karmabhoomi is another surprise. But according to Sethuram, this decision was not surprising for him. Telescreen’s income is higher than the Govt’s salary is his experience.

Even Sethuram’s story telling is different way. Many had felt that his dialogues writing is very play-like. But as time passed by, its history that viewers got used to Director’s new style. Sethuram has very high respect for viewer’s intelligence.

Manthana serial’s another highest point is that getting new viewers to the already present viewers. Manthana is a house hold name even in Software campus. For the sake of people who has lack of time, a few computer intelligents have put up the episodes in internet (in YouTube). There have been discussion regarding Manthana in blogs too. A kannada person who said that Manthana is the only serial his entire family watches, has left Sethuram dumb. Apart from Seetaram’s serial, A serial getting this level of appreciation from people is rare.

Manthana has finished. What next? At present Sethuram is free. Its easy for him to make another Manthana. But he doesn’t like to push what is already pushed. Because of this attitude, he has ended Manthana when viewers are left still asking for more. At present a comedy line is going around in his heart. He is humble to do a serial in a new way greater than the things attached to comedy.

I'll reserve my opinions to later today. I'll wait for your responses. The Last Supper.....soooo touching!

UPDATE :

I got a first clue that its ending, way back in January, thanks to Bhoomika who got to know in October that its ending by 260th episode. I didnt believe then looking at new characters. Last month I came to know that shooting is almost ending, thanks to Vidya Murthy. But thought the gap between the shooting of a scene and its telecast is large. Didnt thought so early. And in the last month I gave you the exact date of its end. Immediately I had to bury most of my wishes and expectations and change my view on the remaining episodes regarding what to expect. I can say that I'm pretty satisfied with the story with those expectations.

If you got hyped, and disappointed over not much action at end, then its not the story's problem.

Loads of story lines are left to interpret ourselves. Loads of tit bits are there in between dialogues of what might have happened. As mentioned yesterday, all those are not even said - meaning that that is what has happened.

For a moment I thought that yesterday's ending would have suited for final ending.....but later thought no, as the story point of view this was relevant. Many of the things looks not wrapped up, but actually most are wrapped, some left for interpretation. Especially pushpa issue, lets see how many of you get it. I personally thing she married Rajesh.

Only loophole for me still glaringly visible is that they didnt say who was that girl that Yogi had fell behind. Although it wasnt so important for the main story.

Since yesterday to till the episode started I kept thinking how are they going to finish Aruna-Suvarna story....Only 3 answers came to mind. Either they should break up OR someone dies among them OR Suvarna will agree to Rekha on those words that if our stomach's are hungry, you tend to get blind on other's hunger! And thats what happened!

I got so much more to say. I wanna discuss it in lengths. A really great story. Those of you who missed episodes from Day 1, have missed some legendary episodes. Especially Sumeru.....and Sadanand after his raid!

Lets discuss in detail. I'm eager on your responses. How you interpreted it and all.

Apr 3rd - Penultimate Episode

What a Chemistry! On a perfect path towards the end. Loved it.

As said earlier, History Repeated Itself! The last scene where 4 ladies go to work and men in home.....with gate in the picture....The same scene was there once upon a time. Only difference is, the 4th lady was Ajji instead of Swathi today. That was too when Suresh left job. Krishna kumar wasnt there I think....he had vanished. So great to watch that scene again this way at almost the end. Shows the story is Legendary and have connections....havent lost path anywhere.

Earlier in the episode, I got a bit tensed that they are starting new stuff, other new problems in mind instead of wrapping up....Didnt understand what are they doing...I was tube light. Understood much later. And yeah they did wrap many things....you should read between lines.

My interpretation of Nandini-Sumathi small tiff over using Krishna Kumar for those work is like this....Dunno how you people think or go by what was said by sumathi herself... :: I feel that Nandini did this purposefully. If she did this, she knew sumathi would get hurt and go on support for her husband and they both get together and love blossoms again. Unlike the previous situation of sumathi looking at him still badly! ........Finally Muddanna - Manorameyara Sallaapa..aaa bisilalli ;-)

On wrapping up issue, Nandini has bought the house. Meaning that Ram chandra Rao's loan is settled. They paid it and its over. The rent will go to Suresh's friend where he took loan. So that's kinda settled.

Raid on ram chandra rao....I dont think it will affect him much, so it will be said in words I think. I'm liking this. Raid on words. First half it was action....it would have felt repetation if they showed raid now for me. This is cool way of directing....not make it look too over-the-top. Nice balance in whole story.

Cant say the same for Aruna story. I still dont understand how they are going to wrap up such amount of disturbances or non-settlements in mind and heart of their's in one single episode.

Reddy's is over. He went to village or in next episode they might just say he went to jail. Swamy left. Sadashiviah too jail (in words may be) OR left home probably (if they dont say he went to jail). Sadanand.....I had so many hopes but changed it that he would appear again so his part is over long ago.

As Shruthi said, Ullas got job, she doesnt want him to come back early...told to earn hard for 10 years continously and then can live happily..thats settled. Hmm...feels like tomorrow 2 parts of Aruna story will be there. And last punch of Sumathi family probably. Lets see what happens. Final thoughts will be reserved for tomorrow and then time will be there to assess old story with final episode.

On March 28th episode, what I didnt understand was, Pushpa said if Rajaram still dont accept after consulting again, she said "Ayogya andkotini".....well she already thought he is ayogya no? Whats new there again?

UPDATE : On soundtracks front, at the end, Family Tradition tune is given in a new way with a lady's voice.....loved it too.

On a very sad note, I noticed today that in the trailer of Minchu, they have copied one of the soundtrack of Manthana. One of the tabla tune. I dont know who makes the trailer - Whether the editor of serial or ETV - whoever it is, copying like this one's art and hard work is really heinous and shamefull on their part.....Shameless fellaws who runs a serial with just a name, no content, doesnt have a nerve to put up a great story in place.

Its raining heavily here. There's high chance of power going off. My request to all bangaloreans to please watch just today's episode on your home. Dont depend on me. Coz already for long hours power has gone today.

I’m sorry to inform you all that I’m no more posting any updates! This is due to the notice sent to me by my ISP asking to remove all the content uploaded due they receiving a notification of copyright infringement. I was expecting this from Day One, but finally here it is. And I will be honoring it. Thanks for all your support all these months. I enjoyed each day with you all in sharing such a masterpiece. (a) a physical or electronic signature of the subscriber; (b) identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled; (c) a statement under penalty of perjury that the subscriber has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled; (d) the subscriber’s name, address, and telephone number and a statement that the subscriber consents to the jurisdiction of the District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located.

In the event that you submit to BSNL a counter-notification that includes these elements, BSNL will forward your counter notification to the complainant and advise them that BSNL will cease disabling access to the allegedly infringing material in ten (10) business days. Sorry for the non-communication. I'm in some deep trouble. I have been summoned. Working on it. Discussions are on...its about Manthana itself. Dont think I'm not posting coz of personal work. I just saw an ad that a new serial is starting from April 7th at 8.30pm.....that's manthana's time. Looks like Manthana is ending. BUT that's way too early to tie up all remaining loose ends. I would be disappointed if anything is left open.Expecting Manthana might have been moved to other time coz if its true, it means just 10 more episodes. Will update as & when I know more.

UPDATE 3 : Saw another ad saying there is a shuffle in timings of a few serials due to the introduction of 2 new serial. The list of changes in timings of other serial was shown and....the news is that Manthana did not feature in that list...Meaning that Manthana's telecast time has not changed and it is indeed ending in next 10 episodes. I wanted to confirm it again and saw the ad second time now and yes, Manthana did not feature in the time changing list. End is nearing....2 weeks of countdown, 12 days of wait, 10 days of watching, 10 episodes remaining....Imagine the pace!

Coming to the topic, weekends are never good as there's no Manthana....and now the 2 weekends back to back have been pretty bad for me. Last Weekend - As Scuderia Ferrari fans would know what a worse weekend it was. Now to start this weekend with such a bad note with a no-audio-episode. Missed such an important episode. I'm still fuming. I'm hoping someone would come up saying what happened. Just saw trailer for next one. Swamy says to Sreenivasiah : "Devaru aagokke aaglilla, Manushya aagokke hortiddini...adakke nimma sahaaya beku"

It looks like a waste that I opened a discussion post. Neither am I giving it a thought to add something to it. I have some other plans for the next 2 weeks. After that I'll look at that. I'm really disappointed for the lack of participation from people who have seen older episodes there. Totally 5 bangaloreans are here. When you miss one, you come here and watch. Same way other's have missed earlier ones, cant you help by briefing old story atleast?

I'll start from Shruthi - Praveena story....to Professor's Raid..to Sadanand - Sreenivasiah's raid....to a very detail explaination of aftermath of raid in Sadanand's life which is very important...Sumeru and Sadanand's wife's brother who is another important character who is just vanished these days like all those old characters.....to shruthi's encounter of words against Krishna kumar which makes him vanish from home....to Suresha's greed....he coming and occupying the house after leaving job.....to sumathi taking transfer and leaving house to another city...to sumathi sending ajji to aashrama....to shruthi going to hostel.....to reappearance of Krishna kumar.....to filing petition against Reddy....to threats of Reddy.......Shruthi crying looking at a dead body in hospital after a call from police thinking its her father :-D later realising its not......sumathi knowing about the reappearance of Krishna kumar.....to family deciding to getting back together under one roof.....to that decision making suresha get angry and leave home and not pay loan...... I think that's enough to know. The story even before those - even I dunno....so dont ask me!

Extremely sorry, my sincere apologies. This is entirely my fault. There was signal problems at first for 15 min before start of Manthana. I really thought I missed it as time went past...then suddenly signal came back. But still video was having problems...was in tension and in a min everything settled and clear....then later realised that there was no sound. I use amplifier while recording. There's no need to listen or give sound to record...so thought audio would come even if I didnt give sound....but later after recording when I saw there was no sound in the recorded video too...coz I STUPIDLY FORGOT TO SWITCH ON THE AUDIO IN STB AFTER SIGNAL CAME BACK!!! Just one button...Just one button would have done the trick and me....damn...someone whoever saw it please help....Or any lip readers here? ;)

Busy! Blog On Hiatus!

I'm extremely sorry to say that there wont be any updates on blog for a brief period. My exams are going on from 2 weeks and I tried to manage it here too somehow all these days but I'm finding it very difficult to balance now. I'm really in need of a few extra time and concentration on my academics. I decided this 2 days back itself but postponed it and put up 2 episodes for you. I'll get free and start posting all the episodes at a time from March 20th. Please note that this is more a case of WAITING, NOT MISSING! Episodes will be recorded but wont be posted thats it. So no updates means doesnt mean I havent recorded or you are gonna miss those episodes. Just a wait till weekend. I know that's hard to wait but I hope you understand the importance of the situation I'm in and my life. I hope you people have trust on me looking at my record of the past 6 months in this blog. I'll see how many of you trust me and still remain here after I come back.

Also please whoever is in Bangalore or whoever for that matter is able to see Manthana outside this blog on TV or anywhere else....please keep visiting here daily between 7.30pm-9.00pm Indian Time. If there is any case of power failure and not able to record, I'll make an immediate update so that you people can help in someway or the other. I'm sure this would happen in a few days because - you wont believe me - its raining heavy here in summer!!!!!

And for people who have time and fast net speed, a bit of work for you. If you have downloaded the original file from this Veoh, try uploading it to VUZE.COM, and test the streaming video clarity and compare it with this veoh....please mind that Vuze is a P2P site by Azureus. I hope you have experience in dealing with Torrents before putting hand to this. That site promises to stream DivX not flash. Why am I not doing it? Its taking at half of my uploading speed making it 4-5 hours to upload!!!!!

This is for you lazy people who never comments/discuss about story and still watching without knowing/asking old stories. If you people dont want, I, for one, think there's loads to know and I certainly confess I missed quite a few episodes very early on when it started. And I intend to know what happened on those days so that the story I know is filled completely and no question arises later. So anyone whoever knows whatever story since starting, go on posting. Others (me too) will benefit. Ask here, if I know, I'll post. Everything from story/opinion/what should have happened/what shouldnt have happened/loopholes/clues everything goes here.

Note : Any talk on the dialogue delivery will be deleted. I had enough people complaining of text book style. Just Ignore it.

VOR - That's Video On Request :D No, no I havent launched any such service so please dont go on making requests, I cant do it too. Its just that In January I got a mail asking for download links of Original files of Dec 10th episode and Jan 11th Episode Part 1 as it was too good and Youtube was kinda....you know.

Never had time and neither did I think I would do it, but I just tried today to give download links, wasnt successfull as sites were taking at half of my upload speeds. No matter, no matter, I'm reupping the unconverted's at Yahoo. Will put it up sometime today.

Coming back to the story part, here's a head start from one of the old posts - Thanks to Chandini for answering.....and also thanks to myself....for asking the question yaar ;)

Me : Who is aditi? Explain the Relation!

Chandini : Aditi, Meshtra(Sethuram sir's) magalu. As u all know, Sethuram sir was teaching Moral science in school, and his daughter Aditi and Nandini orageyavaru....
The tragedy strikes when Aditi runs away from home, reason being fallen in love ( there is no introdution of the character whom she falls in love, nor he is shown in serail i guess)......Sethuram sir starts feeling his failure as a father, of having failed miserable in raising the kid ; who himself is role model for all others in that small village and whose profession is teaching "neethi patha"...!! Life continues on its own pace, when one day at midnight he has a pregnant lady(Aditi) at his doorstep all in her delivery pain.....Aditi takes to death during delivery and leaves behind the little baby girl, Kshama.

Now life is all cruel over Sethuram sir, who didnt get any answers to his question about her daughter's life that went un-accounted and now also have an additional responsibility of raising a girl child....He always sees Kshama as a reference to his failure in life and though he has love for that child, he never gets it expressed. The same fear keeps haunting him that the history might re-occur and Kshama would also walk in the same steps of her mother..so his first priority is to get Kshama married off, before there is any room for such an incident to happen....

Now enter Nandini into lives of this tata-mommagalu ; (I am not very sure, but Kshama writes to Nadini and so Nadini come to their home i guess, people can help me here)...Kshama's dreams are now painted colourful; she wants to study further and starts nurturing the wish that Nandini will take her to City after convincing the adamant tata and take care of her highschool education....Nandini who is going through lonliness in life and missing the company of her husband also feels nice in taking Kshama with her, but less did she know the problems that would araise with this arrangement.
Finally , one day Kshama goes with Nandini; Nandini has her own life and worries, she is totally committed towards her duty, where Kshama is left alone in the house, waiting for Nandini to return back to home...

Also there is question on the legal guardianship of this child, Nandini is still hesitant to adopt the child as her daughter, as she has no support from her husband for this act and above all she is not decisive about her future plans of life....and only saying "u r my daughter" doesnt help strengthen the mother-child bond...

Let me not forget to mention about a touching scene in this interaction , its still on my mind.....One day there happens some arguement between Nandini and Kshama ; and already pissed off Nandini at that late part of the day, takes off at Kshama saying atleast now leave me in peace to have dinner, and she starts to have dinner. In all this mess Nandini doesnt even realise to invite Kshama for dinner, even after knowing the fact that Kshama had not taken her dinner yet!....Later calmed down Nandini goes to Kshama's room to talk to her, Kshama now makes Nandini realise the difference being a "Mother" and a "Mother-Like"(Amma mattu Ammana tara) Kshama's dialogue : "Hasivagittu...neevu kootu oota badisikondu oota maadidri ,aadre Kshama,neenu baa oota maadu antha karile illa..! Tata aagidre naanu oota maadalle ootane maadthirllilla..."

Okay, after this i have lost track what had happned with Kshama's story ( there was a discontinue for 3 months from my side..):)..rest somebody can continue...

Weekend Marathi Special

I know its not weekend yet, there's still one more to go! But we got a mission on hand - to dismantle and dissect - which I accomplished already 90%. Thought It would be hard to understand. Not at all!!!

Here is one marathi episode for those who are eager. I got a huge review coming up on this tomorrow.

NOTE : Please do not compare both serials. Watch it as new. When you have expectations and compare things expecially a remake one, no matter how good it is, we wont like it....we tend to say every inch should be same as ours when we think like that. Dont get into any catfight like who is better...I'm seriously going to delete those comments. Comment only if you have anything good to say. I have many to say.

Current story going on is - Looks like raid took place on Professor or going to take place. Because of that a bit of tension between Shruthi and Nandini (praveena....remember?). The tension is of that incident when Krishna kumar took some money from Ram chandra rao when he said its not loan but just for marriage....Then they claim that money is a bribe for Nandini through him....Krishna kumar get accused!

Sumeru...love it...remembered all those old episodes! Thats sumeru and sadanand getting out of car...and sitting opposite them is Professor.

First part i think you people got it...Nandini and Shruthi.....Thats Ketaki in blue ;)

That sumeru part, I clearly remember...when sadanand tells not to speak anything untoward inside, he'll give money and everything that needs for education etc etc (came to join for tution with that professor). Sadanand once asked bribe with that professor ;) Those were very cool days.

I swear I just watched it twice and understood it....surprised at myself! Now the remaining 10% which I didnt get it is....the exact translation of dialogues!

Is anyone experiencing slow movements in this new site Part 3 video? Ended the day with a very sad news yesterday. DivX video streaming site http://stage6.com is going to be shut down on Feb 28th. Its no more. It was such a fantastic site. I had marked sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many stuffs in there which were so great content that I intended to download when I'm free. But now it doesnt seem to happen. Now our videos too will be deleted in 24 hours. Whoever has downloaded the 3 videos posted on DivX, it would be great help if you could upload somewhere else and share links. Especially Jan 30th. Other 2 are trailers....want it?

After this news posted on its site, all those massive users of that site - just like me - headed to the new HD site which I tried yesterday. There servers were so busy that after uploading, it asked for 250 mins to process... :-| 3 hours to upload and 4 hours to process!!! Fine I thought and slept, today they messaged me to my inbox with a sooo kind message saying "Your video has been deleted at 7.29pm Feb 26th 2008 due to its television content. We dont have its information on anywhere on our mainframe or our server"

Thank you!!! I never waited for this message to come as I knew this would be the case dumb fellaws!!

After trying 13 different video streaming sites, finally I found one which supports great quality - almost equal to DivX - although its a flash.

This site looks pretty serious in their conditions that no tv shows allowed. But still i'm adament to try out to see its quality. I'm sure they will delete it but lets see. Already 53% completed, 1.5hrs to go. If its midnite, please sleep. Takes time.

Am fully free today. I really wanted to do something here. Moreover DivX "claims" to have restarted uploading but the errors still there.....so then I finally put hands to the thing which was in my mind since long time. Might think I'm crazy to do these stuff but Irli...parvagilla!

I always wanted this for myself but after making it today morning, I find that I'm not able to use it coz I dont frequent to forums, communities, or any account which supports thumbnails or avatars. So thought to share here if others like it or want it. So yeah, I made an avatar. On whom? Which is the most sought after character in Manthana? Ofcourse Reddy...yaava....Inn yaava....Shiva Shankara Reddy ;-)

How's it? Sorry that software was trial version so it has left a logo on it :-( Use it wherever you want. Ask in comments if you want it and i'll upload the image to rapidshare so that you people can download. For slow internet people if the image is slow in moving it means its loading (1mb) so wait, It'll be clear in moments.

UPDATE : Feeling like a carnival today! Added a mp3 player below only for today loaded with all the Manthana soundtracks posted here. Enjoy...After pressing play wait for a few seconds for it to play (depends on your internet speed)! 19 minutes of music....Forgive the sound differences..becareful about the volume.

UPDATE 2 : In this four and half month ride and after posting 218 videos as of today [ OH DEAR!!! ] for the first time one of the video crossed 1000 views thanks to repeat watchers. Its actually Oct 23rd Part 2 video with at this point of time 1073 views. Phew....Any reason for me not to faint? Wondering why that video....no doubt why Achuta Rao got Best Actor award....Or is is possible coz that's the only video I have where Veena Sundar and Sumeru appeared? :-D

An Update from the DivX site - After soooo many problems in uploading to that site, they now stopped the uploading option. No one can upload for now. They are addressing the issue. Thank God. And I got a mail asking me to change the password immediately. Googled it whats the problem and also its forum. Came to know that DivX site got hacked and got users account passwords....and in those they managed to get admin pass too and it severly damaged their servers....They said they are still recuperating and its a Beta site. I really wish a speedy recovery for such a fantastic site...!

A hectic weekend, full of work. Now got time and came here to comment on previous episodes which shamelessly have kept it pending, but forgot what I thought to say after coming here. As always - was going through my tracker till I remember what I thought to say.....then something in my tracker took my attention off completely.

There was an orkut link...You all know I definately wont leave orkut links...Anyone coming here from there, I would search deep about them....Sanjay-Satish is one, There is one Jyothi from Sacramento who comes here from there but havent introduced yet, The person shantanu or whatever who put it in her scrap...not even that person introduced here.....Then this new orkut link..obviously followed it...It was someone called Shubhangi Gokhale's scrap!

Was getting Mumbai buzzed in tracker since a couple of days, thought our kannadiga's are over there too....this is pune. When I went in, I found that the person who posted my link on that scrap (ketaki) and the person who owns that profile (Gokale) both dont speak Kannada....Was wondering then what are they doing here. It took a few mins to find out...Well, Our Manthana probably has been remade in Marathi as Manthan and this Gokhale is I think one of the actress of it which telecasts on ETV Marathi (Looking at the scraps that 'your perfomance is great in the serial'). Why I said "probably" is because, I dont know if both serials are of same story or not. Googled it but no info. Went into etv site, Bingo...Etv Marathi - Manthan - Just as ours - there were four ladies on poster (ofcourse actress were different).

Cool that Sethuram sir's story moved so much that it has been (probably) remade into other language. 7 years of hard work of script writing has yeilded so much fruit. Now I'm wondering whether that one too is just as greatly directed and performed as ours!

New Characters

Had so much to say since many days, but as you see, due to so many problems couldn’t open my mouth at all. I really want a recap of what happened since Jan 14th. It was so hectic since then. Anyway coming to the topic, this past week there were few new characters introduced in the serial. We do tend to get bored in watching others than our favorites on the show. We start doubting whether it’s the same serial. Takes some time to accept new characters. Well, we must know that the characters who are our favourites were also new once upon a time. Sethuram sir has this tendancy of making something interesting out of that new character – we should wait for it. I’m sure he wont introduce them just to run a serial longer. Same happened with Ullas family. When his family was introduced (it was at a time so many of them), many felt its boring whenever their part comes. Well…it didn’t take long for me to start liking them. First thing I always like is a connection with the already existing characters of this new ones. Then other things of that individual. When the Ullas family was introduced, they were connected to Sreenath who was already introduced. Many felt Sreenath has problem from Reddy, why should their family been shown? Just dragging….Well I liked it when they told Sreenath’s father that he has cancer immediately. His thoughts, action…many coincided with the person I personally knew. And later we came to know of another connection to that family which took place later which I believe everyone already knows (I have posted the wedding video here – which on those days we speculated it wont happen coz taata was in hospital then too remember?) And that family edition was never boring for me…

Now these new characters from past week…Took couple of days to get used to them…But excitement hit already on the first day itself. It took couple of min to realize it. There is a connection already. No not about mata…But…Does any of you remember this suvarna’s father is?

Yes the assistant of Rekha said he was working for Reddy in farm. But it didn’t strike me immediately. I thought he was new guy. No he’s not. He’s already introduced in November. How many of you remember? :D Go to a post just before Nov 20th Episode. There are a few bad quality videos. In one part, Nandini is asking questions to him. In Reddy’s farm. In one of the episodes in December, he’s appeared in front of Reddy too….You say so what?…well he’s one of the person who should give statement in Reddy’s case isn’t it? There’s the spice. Connection. Ofcourse Rekha’s chikkappa is mata’s trusty – another connection. I made up another connection in comments that their might be a connection between Rekha and Yogi :D Sorry! That doesn’t seem to be true. In a conversation, Kabinipati tells “that girl doesn’t have income”….unlike for Rekha. So that rules out her. Waiting to see who is that girl yogi has fell behind.

Now with these connections present, next was there individual ability and story about them which should make me interested in it….I liked suvarna’s attitude. Especially in Jan 30th Episode. Rekha’s chikkappa doesn’t want to work or earn just because property would go to the child of either of siblings. Well that might not be noble but is there anything wrong in it? Its all situation driven….Who would earn and wont spend but give it to the child of his/her brother’s grandchilds? But its very wrong not to allow Rekha or Aruna to marry….its his right whether to work or not but not decision upon them. This is it that’s all kept me so far into them….Wish its more than that sooner….especially the Reddy connection ;-) Whatever it is I’m sure I wont be bored. I’m sure sethuram sir will keep something in it sooner or later to make sure its more interesting…Rekha has already appeared in front of Nandini…already known strong character…so that’s breaking the chill that they are unknown and new…that’s a good first step…Let’s see what happens next…Its not going anywhere…Its there itself…Just expanding…

Ok now the explanation of the incident posted in the Feb 1st comment.

After coming back to home from his disappearance, Krishna kumar visits Nandini and Says he feels sorry for the way he lived. He realizes his mistake. He has done nothing in life which he could boast of. I changed when Shruthi said to him that she will think “amma ishtu dina kasada jote samsaara maadidlu anta tilkotini”. So he wants to do something to the nation. Which may make shruthi and sumathi proud of. Nandini proposes to sign the petition against Reddy which he does. [ I hope all of you know that Suresha and swathi had taken loan from Ram Chandra Rao against the home of Sumathi which was in her name at that time ]

After that Reddy starts to pressurize Krishna kumar to withdraw the case. Which he boldly denies to obey. Reddy asks Ram Chandra rao to do something as sumathi’s property papers was in his hands (still is in his hands).

All was well for Suresha when Krishna kumar left home (and everyone else too giving other reasons). When he came back, he thought sumathi would want everyone to be in single house and she wont write home to his name. It angers him and leaves house and wont pay the loan for 3 months. Ram Chandra rao comes to home and demands it. If they cant pay leave the home because purchase paper was in his hands – signed by sumathi. Or else sign another paper (which I didn’t get what it was). He pressurizes them (shruthi and sumathi) to leave home or pay the dues (on orders from Reddy). He had backup rowdies in front of the house to take off all stuff from home throw out. Sumathi was almost ready to sign the another paper. Just then enters the unlikely saviour or hero – Krishna kumar – tadatadaaa….

He says “Yaavono avnu mane samaanna aache haakovnu?” with a big donne in hand.
He dares questions ram Chandra rao very well with all the legality being told right in front of him which makes his lips sealed. He says “I know who sent you and why you are here. When you have purchase papers, why is this new another paper to be signed. Kodalla rii duddu. Yen maadkotiro maadko hogi. Saala avnu togondiddu. Katde irodu avnu. Avnne hogi keli” (his son)

Ram Chandra rao says “Beda…idu maryadastara lakshana alla”
Krishna kumar says “Illri…namgilla maryaade…yeniga”
Ram Chandra rao says “Eeg hogtini…aamele kalstini yogina (his son)….”
Krishna kumar “Kalsi…irtini manenalle”

Later he says to sumathi “Neen yenu?...Yelladakku sign maadkond hogodena? Neen ee tara maadiddakke , maga ee reeti aagirodu”

Shruthi and sumati continuously stares at him with surprise…..then bursts into laugh…

Yesterday’s episode made me remember this.

After spending so long with my tracker, I sort of know almost which places people come here….but yesterday a new destination got registered. It said “Prague, Czech Republic”. I thought hey that’s a new one. Didn’t have to wait too long though. The person’s name was Sparsha who self-introduced immediately in the comments post. I liked that. There are a few who still havent spoken out even once. There’s whole lot of new people here since Jan, welcome to all of you. And I see there’s difficulty in accessing archives beyond January. Its nothing – Just click the arrow beside 2007. You get December, November, October. Click arrows on which ever you want and you will get the posts posted on those months.

I live in Bangalore. I started this alone. Whoever leaves comments are not related to me in anyway. I didn’t know any of them. However after so many months here, I have made a few friends here. Really wanted a break. Feeling so free. Havent visited this blog since 3 days except to update Part 3 transcript. 10 days from now, it'll be 4 months...since this blog started. Feeling really bad that I missed posting an episode for the first time since Nov 20th. And feeling bad that I missed watching an episode since sometime in October. Believe it or not I have even missed Sadanand and Sreenivasiah's raid. What makes me angry is that there are people who have watched it, but refuses to help or just give a gist of what happened on missed episode. No. I havent heard anything from anyone yet. Same happened to me in October. And that anger itself is what made me to start this blog so that no one misses it....But...

Anyway as far as I had seen in trailer - That new character says to Rekha that She is interested in money not love so she wishes to marry that new guy.

Raajesh tells to Swamy that he cant sell that land coz he says he did something .... like order from government or something...

That new guy tells Rekha that "she told madve aagodadre baa, illa andre barbeda anta" Rekha tells "Hogbeda, ee madve aagolla"

I havent yet found any alternatives yet. So may be this is where I stop. Either I should give good videos or I shouldnt at all. Its still plagued with audio problems. I dont see any solution to this. Just hoping that they release DVD's of this. Probably I might brief everyday what happened!

Problems Problems Problems! Extremely Sorry!

1. There seems to be some audio problem. I dont know why. It was good when it was telecasting.

2. In Part 3, power went out. Thankfully it came back within few seconds.

3. This is entirely my fault. When in tense mind nothing seems to work. I forgot to change the resolution of the video while converting part 3 of 21st and 22nd episode. Due to that you will see small video screen or stretched one meaning bad clarity. Forgive this mistake. Once system is back, i'll replace those parts if anyone wants it.

5 Episodes posted today! Its up-to-date now! Better watch it slowly, lasting it for 2 days. Dont watch it all at once because my system isnt back yet and it doesnt look like it will be back soon looking at the speed my bro is moving. So dont know when other episodes will come up. Probably once in 2 days or sunday if my system isnt ok till then. Hope that wont be the case.

To be honest with you all, past week was so hectic that I myself havent watched any episode after Jan 14th. I mean I watched but nothing went into head as I was tensed about the situation here. As far as I have seen while converting, Jan 15 part 3-4 looks cool...I caught the dialogue "bai muchkond irtiya ninu" while cutting it :D
And also full of Jan 18th episode. But have to watch again from Jan 15th. I think I need some time to accept Shruthi Naidu into Manthana family...I'm not attached to her yet...Almost all characters are so close to me now.

During the past hard week, I have missed 4 classes and I have loads to catch up and work on. So Dont expect me to reply. But do leave comments, it really helps. Every Morning I do make a visit, so if needed I'll leave a reply.

Anyone in Bangalore going to Time's AV Expo in Kanteerava this week? I'll be there. Dunno exactly which day and at what time I'll be there but I really dont want to miss it this time. Last year it really hurt when I missed it even though I was ready to go since 2 days (bro kai kotta!) So going alone this time.

I'm very very eagerly waiting for sadanand and sumeru to be back to we re-visit those stunning dialogues by them we witnessed many months back....Dunno when that will happen. No situations at the moment for them to fire such dialogues...Probably we might if sadanand's raid case hearing comes first before Reddy's....But as I said early, Its not the end until it ends...He is one of the person to be questioned in Reddy's case isnt it?...Hmm..can see some spice. But-as in real life-it'll be late. Wished we had the remote to fast forward these waiting time and watch everything every hour :D I like these, looking at every step of investigation.

I'm thinking to scrap Anonymous and Nickname comments. Meaning only registered people can comment. You can comment by your google account, Wordpress account, Live Journal account etc. This is to weed out unwanted persons, helps me to identify each of you and also rules out the possibility of one impersonating the other. Hope this doesnt make you people not comment at all. Will be decided on what you people feel so let me know.

Had a very nice weekend. Had loads to download, managed few. Spotted Ullas near my home. Next time I bump on him, I dont think I'm gonna leave him till I say everything I want to say. From next week, I'll start breaking away from youtube and try to post single file than multiple parts. Had fear that many watch on youtube but not here so if I change then they would miss. Nah...Saw how many of you and from where are you people coming since last 4 days. I'm satisfied with the numbers. Enough people on-board to make changes if possible.

It would be nice if you people go on introducing yourself and from where you are. All these days - based on comments - I thought its only around 20-30 people here. Karnataka Television Awards by Essel Group who owns Zee took place last week which was shown yesterday on tv. As expected Manthana came on top with 2 awards in Best Actor and Best Scriptwriter category. Although I quite dont agree with other catagories going to others (especially best director, best serial, best actress), congratulations to all the winners.
